were taken. The hike started at the river below. Approx 2500 vertical feet
in 4 miles. 8 miles round trip. It was worth it.!!!

Looks a lot different than your trips to sunny beaches but very interesting landscape. Hope my boys see it, my son Hyrum loves that kind of scenery and has always wanted me to take a trip down there with him in the spring or fall. Are you guys just always in shape for that sort of thing or did you have a program to get in shape for it for awhile before hand? Keep posting, I'm such an armchair traveler that I really enjoy such.
OK, don't know why that comment says it is from MOM-that is what I use on my kids blogs but didn't think it was going to come out that way on this one. I'll have to learn how to change that. Vicki
